A very pertinent piece by the journalist and former broadcaster Kenneth Roy in Scottish Review (“Scotland’s online current affairs magazine”) about an interview he did with Gordon Brown back in 1983. Oddly enough, Brown was then aged 32 and had just left STV; I’m nearly 31 and still work for STV, so feel an affinity with the Prime Minister…
Some nice historical parallels with Ramsay MacDonald too.
