Conservative History Week

disraeli-webThe Conservatives have just launched a new history seciton on its website to mark Conservative History Week, including a rather jingoistic video celebrating the party’s long “progressive” history. The party’s resident historian Alistair Cooke has also penned an interesting introduction, while the site’s Blue Blog will have contributions from leading historians, writers and biographers (such as Andrew Roberts and Michael Dobbs) and high-profile figures from past Conservative governments (including Lord Hurd, Lord Howe and Sir Malcolm Rifkind, the former Scottish Secretary) throughout the week.
