Thatcher debate at Signet Library

STV’s website has now posted a webcast of Monday night’s superb debate on the legacy of Margaret Thatcher in Scotland (left is a picture of Sir Malcolm Rikfind’s speech). You can also see some highlights in a news report Bernard Ponsonby did on STV News.
Meanwhile, the Independent MSP Margo MacDonald (and wife of Jim Sillars, who spoke in the debate) has devoted her Edinburgh Evening News column to the debate, while Gerry Hassan has posted a detailed reaction on the OpenKingdom website. Thursday’s Scotsman has also written up the debate for its Government and Public Affairs pages, while Ian Fraser also mentions it in his business diary for the Scottish edition of the Sunday Times.
